On December 14, 2020, join UCLA alumni and friends to witness a rare cosmic event —a total solar eclipse in Argentina’s Patagonian Lake District, known for its sapphire lakes, lush forests and sensational views of the snow-capped Andes. In the company of Jean-Luc Margot, Professor and former Chair of the Department of Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences, we’ll experience the eclipse during the southern hemisphere’s summer at a site outside San Martin de los Andes directly along the path of the totality.
