Accuity, one of Hawaii’s largest accounting and advisory firms, has hired Lucas Love ’04 as tax director, strengthening the firm’s tax advisory and compliance capabilities.
Love brings well over a decade of tax law experience, including Carlsmith Ball LLP (partner; later Of Counsel) and Baker & McKenzie advising Silicon Valley companies on international tax matters. He also interned with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel in the Large Business & International (LB&I) division in San Francisco, previously worked as a CPA/auditor with Ernst & Young in Honolulu, has taught taxation of business entities at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a top Hawaii tax attorney.
Love earned his bachelor’s degree in history.
